Working with racehorses requires commitment and enthusiasm, but is hugely rewarding. With over 9,500 full time and nearly 7,500 part time employees involved in producing and training horses, as well as over 400 full time jockeys and over 500 licensed racehorse trainers in the UK, the racing industry offers many opportunities.
Working with horses requires a unique set of skills, which we can help you to acquire. Through our Approved Centres, we offer a range of qualifications that help people enter, and progress their careers in, the racing, thoroughbred breeding and farriery industries. These qualifications are accredited by the government and approved by the industry.
