New Trustees join Racing to School Board

1st June, 2017

The charity is delighted to welcome two new Trustees to support our work.

Clive Wisby is currently the Head Teacher at Caedmon Community Primary School, part of the Gateshead Education Local Authority. Last year, he was seconded to support another school that was experiencing some leadership difficulties – meaning he was Head Teacher of two Schools at the same time. Clive is a keen racing fan.

Joining Clive as an Independent Trustee is Michael Andrews, a familiar face in the weighing rooms of Ascot, Goodwood. Lingfield and Brighton. As well as fitting in his raceday stewarding, Michael is a Buying Director at Waitrose and a member of the Royal Ascot Racing Club.

He said:  “I am delighted to be joining such an enthusiastic and passionate team, focused on providing even more support and wellbeing for young people through educational and community engagement programmes.”

The full Racing to School Board: David Adam (Chairman); Rupert Arnold (representing The Horsemen’s Group; Stephen Wallis (RCA); Andrew Merriam (BHA); Morag Gray; Nick Attenborough Michael Andrews and Clive Wisby.
