Five- Star Service for Academy Pupils

10th July, 2017

The Newmarket Academy Godolphin Beacon Project will run for a minimum of three years, Racing to School supports the school with a series of activities and learning skills across the year groups at the Newmarket Academy.

The Academy’s 600 pupils will participate in a range of events at racing and non-racing venues, supported by a range of racing organisations, as well as the generous funder Godolphin.
As part of the Newmarket Academy Godolphin Beacon Project, 30 students were treated to a fascinating and unique behind the scenes tour of the component parts and job roles that keep an International hotel in London on its game.
“It was a once in a lifetime experience and one which our students will never forget. The hotel was incredible and all of the staff at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower made us feel so welcome,” said Mark Kirby following the school trip to London in early July organised by Godolphin and Racing to School.
